Love art? The Texas Pool is home to several Gulf Coast murals that were painted by Cherokee Nation certified artist and 1980s Texas Pool lifeguard Molly Brewer in 2015. She has continued to add to the murals over the years.
Texas Pool Foundation artist, Sarah Riley, repainted our Texas flag mural in 2023. Sarah said she was grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the preservation of this historical treasure in our community.
According to the Texas Pool archives, the mural behind the diving board was painted in 2007 by then Plano Senior High math teacher Megan Chapel, along with board president at the time Kimberly Clarke and her 7th grade daughter, Emily.
Other artwork is featured around the pool including on benches and our Little Free Library.
