Chili Cookoff and Polar Plunge

This year’s Polar Plunge at the Texas Pool will feature a chili cookoff on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026 from 1-3 p.m.
Enjoy a cool dip in the pool, cooking contest with prizes, chili tastings, beer samples, community vendors, shopping opportunities, and a fundraiser benefitting the Texas Pool Foundation. Cookoff contest prizes will be awarded for best regular chili, best exotic chili, judge’s choice, and crowd choice.
Chili cookoff is $35 per entry, which includes the cost of admission for one person. General admission is $10 per person and includes tastings, polar plunge, and more.
