As a 501(c)3 charity, the Texas Pool Foundation supports community-centric donations to nonprofit organizations, the general public, and specific individuals. Charitable donations support the overall mission of the Texas Pool Foundation and are made at the discretion of the Texas Pool board of directors.

Serving Our Community

The Texas Pool offers several types of community-centric donations including community service and hardship memberships, guest passes, use of the facility and educational scholarships.

Ways We Give Back

Tankproof: Swimming is for everyone

The Texas Pool partnered with the Austin-based nonprofit Tankproof to teach lifesaving swimming lessons and water safety skills to local kids who may not otherwise have had the chance to learn.

Community Service Memberships

Opportunities for earning a full or partial Texas Pool membership through volunteering are available each season.

Charitable Memberships

Individuals experiencing hardship may apply for a full or partial membership donation. Others may apply on behalf of families in need.

Community Events

The Texas Pool Foundation may choose to host or sponsor community events held at the Texas Pool facility or within the community. The foundation recognizes that such events foster community connections and volunteerism.

Fundraiser Donations

With Texas’ legendary spirit for living and giving, the Texas Pool Foundation will often make a donation of one or more single-day passes or a 5 Star Guest Card at the request of local charities, schools and other non-profit organizations.

Educational Scholarships

Lifeguards, junior lifeguards, prospective guards and Texas Pool board members are eligible for possible scholarships for advanced training and certifications that benefit the Texas Pool Foundation's mission.

Little Free Library

A Little Free Library is a “take a book, leave a book” free book exchange. Anyone may donate to the library or take a book from the library.

Little Free Pantry

“Give what you can. Take what you need. May all be blessed!” That's the motto for the Texas Pool's Little Free Pantry.
