Description
Lovely vintage Chinese shell art of a bird on a branch with flowers. This 3 dimensional pieces is framed behind glass in a shadowbox type frame. The matte is made of aqua painted wood (some light cracks can be seen on the bottom piece). The assemblage of the bird is in great condition. Looks to be made of various shells including mother of pearl.
The back has a lace trim glued in place and the frame is painted with shiny black lacquer. There is a silver metal hanger on the top of the frame. The glass is clean on the outside, but cloudy in a few areas under the glass, in order to clean, the entire frame must be taken apart.
