Texas Pool Fundraising Chair needed

The Texas Pool is looking for a dedicated and motivated volunteer to fill our year-round Fundraising Coordinator Committee Chair position! The Fundraising Coordinator is a Chair Position in our 501(c)3 non-profit organization and will develop and work with a team on various fundraising efforts. With their service, the Fundraising Coordinator receives one complimentary family membership to the pool and one free party during non-peak hours for up to 100 people. In addition to these benefits, our volunteer Fundraising Coordinator will earn 10% of every donation they bring in.

The estimated hourly commitment is flexible, and Committee Chairs are expected to attend monthly board meetings (usually Saturday mornings). Some fundraising opportunities include but are not limited to the sale of personalized, etched paving bricks to individuals, families, organizations, and businesses to be installed around the Texas Pool property in the season, after-hours wine tastings and other poolside vendor events, #SwimAcrossTexas charity swim competition, Texas BBQ cook-off and partnerships with local businesses. We also aim to increase our corporate and neighborhood donors in general to support more programming at the Pool.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Outgoing, positive attitude with an ability to work closely with a diverse Board Team
  • Exceptional communications, public relations, and fundraising skills
  • Comfortable with approaching potential donors and forming new partnerships
  • Prior experience in fundraising for organizations or non-profits is a plus!
