We are diving in for the 63rd summer season! The Texas Pool will open again on Memorial Day.

Pool Amenities

Come swim in our historic 168,000-gallon saltwater pool shaped like Texas. We have a diving board, two water slides, a “North Texas” island and a shallow “South Texas” wading area for small children & parents.

While the Texas Pool is open to both members and day guests, memberships support our historic preservation and the 501(c)3 Texas Pool Foundation’s mission. Find out more about how much it costs and what’s included.

LEGENDARY FUN IN THE SUN SINCE 1961

The Texas Pool is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. With its unique architectural design and historic value, the pool offers tourists, visitors, guests, and members alike an opportunity to swim across Texas. And with support from the community, the historic Texas Pool will continue to be a community gathering place and a legendary landmark for Texas-sized fun in the sun!

The Texas Pool Foundation provides access to swim safety education, swim lessons, and swimming opportunities for the general public, underserved, underprivileged, and special needs populations of Collin and Dallas Counties. The Texas Pool Foundation supports community-building civic and public events held at the Texas Pool facility. With Texas’ legendary spirit for living and giving, the Texas Pool Foundation honors the past, preserves the future and provides for today.
